You'll travel with a clear, mobile-friendly itinerary and the reassurance that support is there if you need it.

2. What's included in the planning fee? Your fee covers the full design of your trip — itinerary development, curated recommendations, logistics planning, and ongoing support leading up to departure. Everything is built around firsthand experience and trusted local relationships, not generic research. One revision round is included in all plans.

1. Do you book everything for me? It depends on the plan you choose. With The Deep Current Plan, I handle all coordination and booking management from start to finish — including all vendor communication in Spanish, which makes a real difference when navigating local providers, securing availability, and making sure every detail is confirmed correctly. With The Current Plan, I design your full itinerary and guide you through the process while you book directly with each provider. While The Deep Current Concierge is a fully bespoke, high-touch experience for complex itineraries, multi-generational travel, or anyone who simply wants everything handled with an elevated level of care and attention. This plan can also include on-the-ground support in Costa Rica — having someone you trust physically present for key moments, transfers, or anything that needs a personal touch. Either way, you'll always know exactly where your money is going — there are no markups, ever.

2. How do payments work? All travel services are paid directly to your hotels, guides, and activity providers — Deep Current never holds or processes your travel funds. With The Deep Current Plan, I can coordinate bookings and manage payment authorization on your behalf if you prefer. Your payment details are handled carefully and securely at every step.

3. What if I’ve already booked some things?
   That’s absolutely fine. I can build your itinerary around existing bookings and help ensure everything flows well together. If adjustments would meaningfully improve the experience, I’ll walk you through those options — but we’ll always work with what you already have.

2. Can you work within a budget? Always. During our discovery call we'll talk through your priorities and where you'd like to invest — whether that's accommodations, experiences, dining, or simply having more downtime. I'll be straightforward about what's realistic within your range and where small adjustments might meaningfully improve the trip.

3. Will our trip feel overly scheduled? Not at all — that's one of the things Deep Current is most intentional about. The goal is a trip that flows naturally, not one that feels like a checklist. There's always room to breathe, wander, and simply take it in.

1. Do you help while we're traveling? Yes. I'm available during your trip if questions come up, plans shift, or you need help with anything along the way. Most travelers don't need much once they arrive but it's reassuring to know support is there.

2.What if plans change? Things happen flights get delayed, weather shifts, plans evolve. I help you navigate changes as smoothly as possible and can assist with adjustments to booked services when needed.

How do you vet your recommended partners?

Every guide, driver, property, and experience I recommend has been personally vetted through my own firsthand experience or trusted local relationships built over years on the ground. I only recommend people and places I would send my own family to.
